Sue Reid has retired

We are so grateful for the work of the Festival's long-serving Executive Director, Sue Reid, who retired in July 2021. Sue's been with the Festival since it started way back in 1996. All the best in your retirement, Sue! Thank you for your passion, dedication and enthusiasm for children’s water education.

Under Sue’s leadership, at least 100,000 kids have enjoyed learning about water at the Waterloo Wellington Children’s Groundwater Festival. What an amazing legacy! Each Festival is a team effort, but we will miss Sue very much. And we’ll strive to continue what she started.

If you need to reach the Festival's organizing team, please email DMeagher@regionofwaterloo.ca or KDavis@centrewellington.ca.
